Research project DB/DD/015 (Research action DB)
The purpose of the demography interface is to enable scientists and university researchers to undertake their own analyses of administrative demographic databases. To date, this task has been carried out principally with reference to the 1981 and 1991 censuses, in relation to the evolution of the population. In the same perspective, a specific project task is to support the research teams producing census monographs.
In each case the data are made available with the permission of their producer (in the present case, NIS) and in an anonymised, non-identifiable form.
Furthermore, the Demography Interface stores the non-administrative data of surveys from other sources and helps users to process the statistics.
