Labour market and unemployment. Exploiting existing databases

Research project DB/DD/035 (Research action DB)

Persons :

Description :

This project is carried out in collaboration with the project Labour Market Data Interface -Exploiting the administrative employment/unemployment databases.

The aim is to exploit the STAT 92 database concerning the individual itineraries of the unemployed. This source of statistics monitors individuals in a certain number of unemployment-linked administrative situations and identifies the various forms of exit from the dole. The aim is to exploit this source to study transits between these administrative situations. The analysis aims to assess the effects of so-called passive and active policies on the labour market.

Among the policies likely to be investigated, we can mention the various types of exclusion from benefits, reducing the benefits granted to individuals occupied part-time to escape the dole, and certain so-called active policies.

The project will involve developing a methodology adapted to the micro-economic assessment of these policy instruments.
