Research project GT/011 (Research action GT)
Development of an information crossroads on the cultural heritage within the IRPA. The crossroads envisaged will seek to encourage the use of the Internet within the Belgian cultural world, and in priority within the scientific community of art historians. To achieve this, the IRPA-KIK will first perform a detailed inventory of the state of the computerisation of documentary resources and research projects in progress in the field of art history in Belgium. Then it will establish documentary databases and interconnect these with multiple databases of scientific interest, especially image banks.
