Development of rapid methods for identification and quantification of microbiological contaminants (Campylobacter sp.) in meat. The approach rests on hybridisation with non- radioactive oligonucleotide probes (combined with a immunomagnetic separation of specific microorganisms). The opportunities for application to hygiene indicators has been assessed.
