Description :

This project intends to determine the potential risks resulting from an exposure to extremely low doses of radiation during the first hours following conception, as well as before it.

The parameters which will be studied are:

- the presence of malformations in the fetuses;
- the presence and persistence of sister-chromatid-exchanges;
- the influence on the embryonic development by use of cultured "aaggregation chimeras".
