Research project IT/IF/006 (Research action IT)
The main objective of the project is to study and design an environment allowing applications to be run on parallel computer systems. We are basing ourselves on applications designed as a collection of cooperating objects (active or passive). The aim will be a balanced load, i.e. equal allocation over the whole process by means of transparent distribution of these objects. The object-oriented approach for the environment may even lead to a generic environment that can be adapted by an applications programmer.
