High-precision numeric solution of transport equations of the diffusive and advective-diffusive type in complex fields by using field decomposition techniques on parallel computers

Description :

It is proposed to develop quick and precise algorithms for solving transport equations on multiprocessor computers with a common memory. The digital method proposed is based on a spectral technique with pre-processing by finite elements or finite volumes. The computation field will be divided into sub-fields, each of which will be treated by a different process. Conditions at the boundaries of the numerical sub-fields will be developed to allow information to be exchanged between the different sub-fields without slowing down the operating process of the computation program proper.
