Graphic interface models for object-oriented information systems will be defined and analysed. These models allow simple research and visual consultation techniques. Several visual consultation techniques will be compared and the importance of declarative techniques will be analysed in greater detail. The underlying knowledge representation model will be based on logic comprising a clear semantic description and simple primitives.
