Research project IT/IF/016 (Research action IT)
The aim of the proposed research is to establish a set of design paradigms with a view to guiding the development of parallel algorithms. To establish these paradigms, parallel algorithms will be studied (or designed) and implemented to resolve problems where the volume of data to be processed and the complexity of their relations pose major difficulties : algorithmic geometry and the computation of finite elements.
