Research project JU/06 (Research action JU)
This project provides scientific, technical and methodological support for the measurement of public opinion with respect to the police and the justice system.
In 1996, the Ministry of the Interior has initiated a survey about topics such as: the feeling of insecurity, victimisation, prevention, neighbourhood problems and the quality of service provided by the police.
The aim is to enhance the relevance of these surveys for local and national decision making by extending the research sample to a larger group of municipalities, by taking up several other topics relating to the same field, and by repeating the survey on a regular basis.
