Sustainable Mobility in the Brussels Region
Research objectives
1. To translate "sustainable mobility" into "reference alternatives"
2. Having modelled the road traffic in Brussels, to assess the impacts thereof on mobility and the environment,
3. To consider the choice of appropriate units to use in order to measure each impact (elaboration of indicators),
4. To contribute to a better knowledge of the costs of externalities
5. To look into ways of building global indices (in other words, ways of aggregating the previously build indicators)
6. To identify tracks for further research
7. To apply the resulting methodology to the case of Brussels.
