OBJECTIVES.

Theoretical and experimental research to increase the understanding of the fundamental processes that govern light- matter interactions and to determine their application field.

THEME.

Nonlinear dynamics of multi-mode Fabry-Perot interferometers, description of these systems by generalized Ginzburg-Landau equations taking into account transverse effects, optical gain mechanisms without population inversion, dynamics of fiber cavities, all-optical or hybrid switching devices, organic materials for photonics. Nonlinear propagation of ultrashort pulses in optical fibers, synthesis and study of organic photorefractive materials for optical information processing, experimental study of high density matrices of bistable optical elements.
