Research project PS/03 (Research action PS)
The main objective of the research is to develop a multidimensional instrument (in the form of a decision tree or algorithm) to be used by (inter alia) company doctors and advising physicians in order that somatisation can be detected early and its seriousness evaluated. The instrument to be developed must also include guidelines with a view to the prevention of regularly recurring working disability and invalidity as a result of somatisation in interaction with specific dimensions of occupational stress. Finally, guidelines must also be provided for identifying employees with an increased risk of long-term disability.
