Psychometric fine-tuning of the WOCCQ (working conditions and control questionnaire) through assessment of its interventional potential

Research project PS/04 (Research action PS)

Persons :

Description :

1. Fine-tuning the diagnostic tool’s conceptual foundations: Analysis of the theoretical structure via confirmative factor analyses, comparison of the tool with other work situation inspection tools (Karasek, 1979; Jackson et al., 1993; Widerszal-Bazyl & Zolnierczyk, 1995), connections between work situation monitoring and other central organizational variables in enforcing the law on well-being (e.g., satisfaction at work (Spector, 1997), burnout (Maslach, 1982; Cordes et al., 1993; Lee et al., 1996).

2. Revealing the WOCCQ’s potential for organizational intervention through very finely differentiated diagnosis as a lead-up to organizational intervention, which will be considered above all in the form of participatory stress factor management.

3. Dissemination of the refined computerised tool via a CD-ROM.
