Description :

This project investigates the situation of and problems confronting Turkish and North-African immigrants with respect to the administration of criminal law in Belgium. The principle of equality is a central consideration.
There is a literature study, an analysis of a limited number of judicial cases, interviews with privileged witnesses and observation of court sessions.
