The aim of this research is to consolidate the contribution of end-use to the innovation process, and to examine the role played by the various standardisation processes.

The project has three parts:

A. Proposed definitions for "Innovation", "Conception", "Use", "Standardisation" and the difficulties associated with finding theoretical TA models to link these.
B. Development of models linking these concepts. Two case-studies from the point of view of supply and use.
C. Consolidation of a network.
