Research project SS/D4/02 (Research action SS)
Access to social services and the relationship of the user with them are the subject of complex regulations. The basis, content and application of these regulations is evaluated from the point of view of protecting the user's interests.
How can users orientate themselves, participate in making decisions affecting them and ensure that their rights are respected in the fields of health, housing and social and legal support? What quality guarantees are offered by those services? What systems of accountability are in place? What opportunities are there for appeal? The possibility is investigated of developing a system of user protection adapted to the social sector. The specific characteristics of the informal services are taken into account.
