Description :

Family transitions have been the subject of little research as "life events" - i.e. as dynamic events that mark the lives of the people involved and those around them. The study examines the link between family transitions and the development of the resources available to the individuals and their families (financial, social and psychological resources).
This dynamic between family "life events" and resources is studied to determine the extent to which they generate proactive or reactive strategies.
The analysis is based on data from the "family demographics panel" and aims to achieve a model linking family transitions with the development of economic, social and psychological resources.
