Description :

The research will analyse and map the existing potential for research on peace and security issues.

The study is not limited to a mere inventory of existing institutions, with a description of their organisation and staff. It will also outline the main foci of the research conducted, listing any ongoing research projects and describing the research methods used.

The result of this study will be a systematic picture of the research conducted by the various institutions, of the principal projects, and of the available documentation. Screening of a series of quantitative and quantitative indicators will further enable us to draw some general conclusions as to the current state of the research and available documentation. These tools should support later decisions concerning the Institute for the Study of Peace and Security.
