The research examines to what extent the current regime of non-proliferation still reflects the altered state of post-cold-war international relations.
By studying the literature, we shall examine past and current developments and the legal and political instruments for opposing, at the national and international levels, the proliferation of nuclear weapons.
While providing a systematic picture of nuclear proliferation and its issues, we are developing policy recommendations that may contribute to increasing security in a multipolar world.
