Ann Huyghe
PhD Student

Title of PhD: “Glacial reconstruction of paleo-ice stream dynamics: a model study” In the research for my PhD I try to discover what forces drive ice-stream dynamics. An existing 3-dimensional model is refined and used to reconstruct the ice cover of the Antarctic Peninsula (Boyd-Gerlache Strait and Bransfield Basin in particular) during past glaciations. Supervisor: Philippe Huybrechts Co-supervisors: Frank Pattyn and Marc De Batist.
