in cooperation with the Belgian Federal Science Policy Office and the University of Leuven (KUL) in the Belgian Senate a colloquium on space law, entitled "Towards a Legal Framework for Space Activities and Applications: Belgian, Comparative and European Perspectives".

In the morning, emphasis was laid on the different national space laws, while the possibility of European initiatives was examined. The afternoon session was focused on the legal implications of the use of space applications in policies related to transport, environment and security.
