Project file - Satisfaction study guided group visits MIM

Commissioner

  • Music Instruments Museum (MIM)

Research context

A significant part of the visitors to the Music Instruments Museum come in a group and make use of the educational services. In addition to guided tours, the museum also offers workshops.

Aim

The idea is above all to explore whether visitors who have made use of the educational services are satisfied with this and to determine the reasons why they may choose not to use the services of the educational team (= the groups that visit the museum “autonomously”).

Method of data collection

Self-administered questionnaire (postal survey).

Results

217 respondents took part in the survey, 68% of whom came on a guided tour and 32% on a free visit.
