Project file - Satisfaction study among Dutch-speaking group visits of the Cinquantenaire Museum

Commissioner

  • The Dutch speaking Educational service of the Cinquantenaire Museum

Research context

A significant part of the visitors to the Cinquantenaire Museum come in a group and make use of the services provided by the education team. In addition to guided tours, the museum also offers workshops. Other groups visit the Museum without enrolling for a guided tour or a workshop.

Aim

The idea is to question group visitors on how satisfied they are with their visit to the Cinquantenaire Museum. Both groups making use of the services offered by the education team (guided tours, workshops) as well as groups visiting the museum freely are asked to give their opinion about the services provided by the Museum. The different services offered by the Museum are evaluated: reservation, welcome, guide, communication, facilities, etc.

Method of data collection

Online survey.

Results

In 2014, 120 respondents (groupleaders) were interviewed.
