Chinese Pavilion and the Japanese Tower
The Chinese
Pavilion and the Japanese Tower, erected at the initiative
of Léopold II, are unique expressions of an age fascinated
by exoticism.
They house respectively a collection of Chinese export porcelains and temporary exhibitions devoted to the arts of Japan.
An annex of the Chinese Pavilion will house the future Museum of Japanese Art.
