Musical Instruments Museum
The Musical
Instruments Museum, installed on the Royal Square in a superb
Art Nouveau building - the former Old England storehouses designed
by the architect Saintenoy - brings together in its collections more
than 7000 pieces from all regions and all periods.
Profiting from its new setting, it deliberately breaks with the traditional vision of the museum as a "sanctuary" of objects from the past.
Its challenge? To be a centre of music, a living space, thanks to the contribution of new technologies.
