COST OPEN CALL 2025

The new COST Call 2025 is open and deadline for submission is the 21st October 2025 at 12h00 (noon) CEST.

The relevant documentation is available on COST website: https://www.cost.eu/funding/open-call-a-simple-one-step-application-process/ .

It is important to remark that both the Technical Annex and the Proposers’ Guidelines have been revised.

COST BELGIAN INFO DAY 2025

The next deadline to hand in the proposals for the COST Open Call 2025 is set on 21 October 2025 at 12:00 PM (noon) CEST. The Belgian COST National Contact Points have organised on 7 May 2025 at BOSA in Brussels two COST information sessions:

  • a general session to present COST and its networking opportunities
  • a specialised session for Belgian researchers and innovators that are preparing a proposal as 'main proposer' or ‘secondary proposer’ in this COST call

Be sure to check the following on the COST website : information about the open call (https://www.cost.eu/how-to-apply)  and guidelines for participation (https://www.cost.eu/funding/documents-guidelines).

The changes in the Proposers’ Guidelines are the following:

  • Change in the title of the Guidelines: COST Open Call Proposers’ Guidelines – level C (formerly COST Open Call Applicants’ Guidelines- SESA-level C)
  • New annotated version of the Technical Annex
  • New scoring system of the remote individual evaluation
  • Introduction of a section on Generative Artificial Intelligence
  • Introduction of the notion of Acceptability of COST Action’s proposals.

The new Technical Annex template shall be used for OC2025-1 including for resubmissions.
