The research groups - Astronomy

Physique des Particules Elémentaires
Université de Mons-Hainaut (UMH)

Promoter: Prof. Dr. Herquet Philippe

Presentation

The group is working since the early 1970 in the field of elementary particles physics, in particular using high energy accelerators at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research, Geneva). The last five years the activities cover also astroparticles physics and in particular neutrinos from galactic or extragalactic sources.

Activities

particles detector R&D, computing, data analysis
