Description :

The project covers support to the development of a mission centre for the microsatellite PICARD, with foreseen launch in 2008. PICARD is developed by the French space agency CNES and will carry the following instruments: 1) SODISM for the measurement of the solar diameter, developed by CNRS-SA (France), 2) SOVAP for the measurement of the Total Solar Irradiance, developed by RMIB, 3) PREMOS with sunphotometers and for the measurement of the Total Solar Irradiance, developed by PMOD (Switzerland).
