International organisations whose headquarters are established in Belgium
Each year, the Federal Science Policy gives funding representing the intervention of Belgium to various culture related institutions - public or private, Belgian or foreign. Given the nature and the national or international missions of these institutions, the subsidies or credits continue to be borne by the federal budget.
ICCROM (International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property)
ICCROM is an autonomous, scientific, intergovernmental organization founded by UNESCO in 1959 in Rome. It is devoted to information, promotion of research and consultancy on matters relating to the conservation and restoration of cultural property. ICCROM's rich resources include one of the world's leading conservation libraries. The Library catalogue is now available on-line.

International Association for Classical Archaeology
The International Association for Classical Archaeology in Rome is an association of archaeologists and scholars of antiquity, in particular Greek and Roman studies. It is concerned with the development of scientific research, with the safeguarding of classical studies, and with the protection of the heritage of antiquity.
